I have this monitor, it's beautiful.

The stand is very well made, very robust, and it has every option you could want.

 

Included cables are a tad short, sitting around 4 feet long.

I have this monitor, worth every penny. I'd recommend it to someone who isn't willing to spend the extra $200+ for IPS and wants 4k (http://www.amazon.com/Dell-Monitor-P2715Q-27-Inch-LED-Lit/dp/B00PC9HFO8)

I agree that buying a monitor online is one of the last things I'd ever want to do with tech.

Just not sure how comfortable I would feel with the whole shipping, as UPS isn't exactly gentle, and in the winter here I wouldn't exactly want my 4k monitor sitting in the back of a truck in -40C

When you have to ship it back after the store warranty runs out and you are dealing with the manufacturer it will cost way more than sending a PSU which I thought I was going to have to do and it was going to cost me $40 which is ridiculous.  With the failure rate so low for these companies with their products they should be footing the bill up to a certain cost for returned products.
