You don't need one. It has great onboard audio.

My arsenal: i7-9700k Gaming Rig, an iPhone, and Stupidity.

You don't need a soundcard. Have a nice day.

That depends. My Front Audio is pretty poor for some reason while my back sounds much better. My back is used for my speakers and the front for my headphones.I'm using a soundcard purely because I can tell the difference.

I wouldn't spend more than $20 to $40 on a sound card. if I was going farther than that I'd use an external DAC and amp

Plug your headphones in back then.  Less EMI that way as well.

My PC specifications are in my profile.

Then I need to take out my speakers...

Hence why I got a sound card. Would rather switch quickly in windows instead of messing with wires.

No kidding? We're talking about the OP's board, not yours.

Just be aware that soundcards typically have a higher output impedance, so they may not be ideal for low impedance headphones as electrical damping may become an issue.

I have a sound blaster z. Do i need it no but ive liked having everything seperate like the old days like when mother voard was just the mother board and u had to have an expantion card for everything.but thats unfortunately pointless now

Plus ive used a sound blaster since day one and ive always been happy with it(except that fake soundblaster card that came on maximus ii formula that sounded like crap) so why change manufacturers your happy with.

That board on paper has amazing integrated audio. So unless youre experiencing static, crackling, popping, humming, or any kind of noise thats not suppose to be there than no need for a dedicated sound card

And you know how OP's board performs? Have you tested it personally?

PC Audio Setup = Beyerdynamic DT 770 pro 80 ohm and Sennheiser pc37x (also for xbox) hooked up to Schiit Fulla 3
