Is my system good enough to run GTA V?

Do I'm really excited to GTA V releasing on pc but I'm kinda worried my pc won't be able to run it at just 1080p. So can any of you smarter people let me know if I'm ok for now or am I going to need an upgrade??

maybe medium 720p, thats how bf4 runs with that gpu, everything else is fine. the 1gb of vram is the reall problem, otherwise i could see 1080p medium

 

i suggest looking at a cheap 290 (second hand), i upgraded from a gtx 645 to a 280x and it is soo much better (but sadly that card failed so im back on this)

1080p no. To run it smoothly you'll be looking at 720p medium-high.

yup, back when i benchmarked this card that is about where it ran

720p-med settings with no aa and i got about 50-60fps

nope you would need to upgrade to play 60fps or lower down the graphics

Unfortunately not at 1080p. If you lower the resolution and the settings, probably.

How much are you willing to spend to upgrade or is it out of the question?

I would upgrade the CPU, GTA 4 was poorly ported but it still was bottlenecked by the CPU

As others have saids its upgrade or play at 720p with lower graphics settings.

Yea I think I'll just play at 720p nd wait till the summer for a huge upgrade and lol 645s is life

no, a i3 is fine for gta iv because even though its cpu dependant you didnt get much of a performance diffrence and the consoles it was ported from was weak to begin with

Well u can launch it at everything set to low. But don't expect to go above 30fps in online. In single player u might be okay at 30fps.

Game is awesome on consoles and we are all hyped for PC, but your system is pretty low end so I would recommend to get game for free and if it runs well, buy it.
