The right choice for me: At2020 USB vs Shure PG42 USB

I've been having a hard time deciding for one of these microphones and requiere assistance to that matter.

 

According to reviews are both of these Microphones amazing, however is it a tough choice for me to decide for one without having any sidethoughts wether or not i should had bought the other one instead.

 

I've made the decision for the USB versions due to the fact that they are way simplier to use for me personally.

 

I will use the Microphone for calls in Skype/TS and for Let's Plays in which case i prefer to enjoy hearing my voice as clear and background noiseless/without any tiny humming in the background as possible.

 

 

I'm sure there are many more mics for the tasks stated above and thus am open to any suggestions for mics that cost up to 250€

I can confirm the AT2020 is amazing. I want one myself.

You need a preamp for the AT2020, after that is a great mic; even if the shure it's easier to set up I think a setup for the AT2020 is cheaper and will sound pretty similar once you figure it out.

I have an AT2020USB and you don't need a preamp, I believe ForsakenLive misunderstood.

Alright, and how about the Shure PG42, anyone had any experience with it?

I've heard only good things about the 2020, no knowledge of the other however... Whichever way you go, Make sure you pick up a pop filter!
