Seasonic Platinum-520 Fanless Cable Sleeving

Silverstone has same PSU,u can use Silverstone cables

While it is true that the Silverstone Nightjar is the Seasonic Platinum FL internally, the Silverstone PP06 sleeved cables are not compatible with it (it's not even compatible with the Nightjar). So he can't used them, unless they are the PP07 extensions.

now on a side note this opens up a different question... why will extentions work with everything but only certain cables with certain psu's? it's the piece that connects standard?

Well, extensions basically just "extends" the original cables, so since the end that plugged into the components will be the same for all modern PSU (a molex, 24-pin, 6/8pin PEG, etc. will have the same pin-out and connection), it would work for any PSU.

However, it's different when you plugged into the PSU side. The company who is selling you the product will standardized the pin-out and the connector used for their PSU (even units that belong in a different series maybe different). For example, the Corsair AX760 is a Seasonic SS-760XP2 unit internally; however, they don't have the same pinout, as Corsair decided to used their own standardized "Type-3" pinout (I believe the 24-pin remain the same, but it has a different connector). This is a marketing plan, so people can buy their own sleeved cable set with their PSU.

Nah im in America.

If you still considering the full cable replacement option, have you seen the link I had posted? They have compatible cables in stock for your PSU. http://www.performance-pcs.com/brand--cablemod

I've checked out a couple of different websites looking for sleeving for the PSU cables for Seasonic Platinum-520 Fanless but it does not look like any of the websites i've found carry them. I know that not all cables will work with every PSU, but I do know that some are compatible with others. So I had 2 questions:

1) What website/compnay would you recommend for quality sleeving?

2) What cable kits are compatible with the PSU I have?

I have the Seasonic Platinum-520 Fanless

And these are the sites i've looked at so far:

http://pexonpcs.co.uk/

http://www.icemodz.com/

http://modbunker.com/

I think extentions would work too. I have the H440 case, I just want the cables that have to show to be sleeved. The rest of my setup is in the sig.

Thanks that deffinitely opens up some possibilities.

any extension will work.

or you have to make your own cables.

@Thisunami

Considering my PSU will be hidden and you wont see 75% of the cables this is something I may do to knock out two birds with one stone. compatibility wont be an issue and I can pay less for the extensions for the same effect.

Are you in the UK ? as you can pre-order those Cablemod cables if you are. Extensions will work ok in that case though.

And anher quick randon question... do they make sleeving with led's inside of it? like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6V2-M_WoKcs  (skip to 2:10 this video is horrible but it basically shows what im looking for)

Contact Lutro0 at ModBunker, you can order custom cables through them. And while they might not share pinouts, there likely is common connectors so it may be as simple to swap some connectors or pinouts.

Additionally, ModDIY can make cables for pretty much any PSU you need them too. And in any way you need them too, specific measurements and connector numbers, sleeving, wire colour.

I was looking at modbunker. they're a lot more expensive than the other places. from the link posted above i can get a complete replacement kit for just $90 whereas an extention for just the 24 pin connector will cost me $60 by itself... I cant see sleeving quality beeing too different between the two if there even is a difference.

Yeah I definitely checked them out, im deciding if I should go with the black/red or just the red. (im leaning more towards all red). I cant beat that price either. Now as far as quality goes how do they match up to something from modbunker let's say.

True, didn't notice your specs, and more importantly your case. With a PSU shroud all you need is extensions.
