5%-10% price increase

Most likely.

  1. GTX 970 8GB will it be priced the same or higher as the current 4 gb model?

  2. In 4k will we see any improvement in fps with having 8GB Vram rather than 4GB? (Future thoughts)

1. Priced higher for the extra VRAM chips

2. Most likely see an improve albeit not a huge one

1: I'm pretty sure the 8gb model would be priced higher than the 4gb model. Just like for example the gtx 770 where the 2gb model was priced at about 350$ and the 4gb version was at 450$
I think they might do a similar thing where they bump up the price another 100$ or so...

2: I would assume so considering there are more pixels to render each frame compared to 1080p

So I can put anything here?

1. the 290X 8GB prices will be 10% higher than the ones with 4GB (Rumor apparently), so I guess the same for the 970.

2. Yes.. I think? We already saw it with Shadow of Mordor, if you wanted the 4K textures you needed so many VRam. I'll go for yes.

Just remeber gtx 770 2gb vs 4gb. It was like 30$ more for 2gb?

Expect from 349 - 399$ price tag

More vram is allways good. If you were to ask people couple months ago you would be attacked that 2gb is enough for 1080p :D Well its not. And for 4k, more is better.
