Nvidia Reference Cooler Led Logo White Mod

Hey guys for anyone whos looking to get a reference card for their system, here's a pretty good mod guide on how to make the green geforce logo white to match with your build.

Kind of wish they'd make the LED RGB instead of having the logo painted green. 

Um...No? Nvidia's signature colour is green.

So? All I said was that I wished they would, not that they're stupid for having it green or anything.

Probably a mod for RGB lighting somewhere anyway.

Well, you can just paint over the logo after sanding it, but you have to be careful or it looks kind of bad. 

 

Making it clear only takes a few minutes, but would definitely be nice to be able to change it on the fly. Being able to have the colour change based on temperature would be good.

Yep. Like green for cool, yellow/orange for warm and red for hot. I personally just like how they look white, but it would still be cool to have.

In all seriousness, my community manager contemporary and I have been advocates for RGB lit logos for a while (also, logos that can be easily flipped for "upside-down" card configurations. It's a tough sell - green is the color of the brand and the brand is powerful with these cards.

 

We know you want it. That's about all I can say.

As long as it sells and there's profite, why would they even bother? AMD should step up and introduce this and grab some share of the market for a while until nVidia "finally" introduces it. We all know that's how nVidia works.

Probably wouldn't look too good with sharpie.

Any idea on type of color one could use to make it red/blue/ anything but white or green?
