Will a 3930k bottle next-gen graphics cards?

So I know the CPU is beast an all, and I've decided to hold out on GTX 980s. I think I'm going to wait until GTX 1000s (or whatever their names are gonna be) for next year. My only concern is if a 3930k, overclocked to 4.5 ghz will bottleneck two GTX 1080s. I know it's kind of hard to tell considering they haven't even been made yet, but as far as common knowledge goes do you think I'm safe?

It will definitely not be a bottleneck, not nearly just go for it, that is a great processor

No bottleneck at all it is a great processor

Nvidia is to Dr Dre Beets as AMD is to KFC.

One makes you broke, the other you can get more of and have a midnight snack from the fridge when hungry again. Once you go Nvidia, you go broked, turn into an Elitist, or get the incorrect amount of VRAM.

No bottlenecks, that CPU has lots of threads and lots of fasts.

it's hard to tell how the future will be like after the next generation of gpu's, but most likely much won't happen. People are still rocking 2600k's just fine, don't even think about it.

No, I was running off a first gen i7 and it never bottlenecked for me at all, even when I got my 770 last year. Then I finally got the upgrade bug earlier this year and got a 4790k. So no, you should definitely not bottleneck.

Aight cool. I usually play at 5760x1080, so hopefully 3930ks will be just fine. 

I think for that res you should be worrying about having enough v-ram than having a good enough cpu. as everyone else has said, your cpu is amazing for years to come.
