Red Nano Fluid?

Hi all, so I have heard the horror stories of using red fluid in loops, but I heard that Nano fluid often doesn't clog up loops or leave residue as much as water with dye. I was curious if anyone knew of good red nano fluid that won't leave red residue in my radiators, and that will offer minimal resistance. My second option would be to go with white fluid.

For reference I am using a swiftech h220x to cool an i5-4670k, and the Asus Maximus VII.

I use Mayhems Pastel red. After about 5 months it seems to be doing well.

I would go with the white. I don't trust red dye even if it is a nano fluid space magic thing.

Also, plasticizer is the thing that clogs loops. Not the coolant.

Just go with Mayhems Pastel White. Mayhems themselves say that almost all their pastel coolants can potentially permanently stain your waterblocks expect for white and maybe a few others.

I used mayhems pastel for a few months without any issues. I currently just use distilled water because I didn't feel like ordering more when I drained my loop.

I use red coloured tubing and distilled water, still looks great and to get more fluid, I just go to the store instead of having to order more from somewhere else every time.

My friend has been using a red coolant in his dual sli setup for a year at most. When he tried to flush the blocks (he was changing to distilled water) he could NOT flush the blocks. It was always coloured, like pink.. Just use coloured tubing and distilled water.

Okay. What is plasticizer exactly?

I would go that route, except I'm going hardline, so I can't get colored petg.

Right. I assume white would have less of a problem.

I'd like to use petg because it's less rigid and less susceptible to cracking. I'm thinking I'll go with distilled water and see how that looks, and if I want color I'll do white.

Okay. What is plasticizer exactly?

A plasticizer is the part of the tubing that breaks down over time. It is part of the reason soft tubing gets stiff and foggy when it gets old.

Okay thanks. I assume it's in rigid tubing as well

Most rigid tubing is made out of acrylic I think. So no, hard tubing will not have plasticizers in it.
