Decent enough Soundbar for a T.v, <£100

Ddm5

Pretty much that, looking for a Soundbar for my father as a gift as he is tired of the rear facing speaker on the current T.v downstairs. (50 Inch Hitachi T.v). Not really looking for a full home theater, just something better than that said speaker that's inbuilt, not prepared to pay over £100 unless I absolutely need to. Thanks in advance for any help.

well any even tiny sub will give you more bass than just a tiny bar.

To be honest, I had a quick look into this soundbar previously through the local Tesco website for a quick browse.

It's just as big of a difference as adding a sub to a PC sound system or a car. Huge difference lol

I'll have a think about it anyway, and have a chat with my father, to be honest. I want a decent soundbar for the both of us since I'm sick of the tinny bassless inbuilt ones.

Well that's the whole point of a subwoofer lol

A soundbar without a sub won't add much to the TV's built in speakers, which most of which these days are quite good minus the complete lack of bass

This is an example of something nice that's a little over your budget:

If you'd like to stick within budget, this may be worth looking at:
