Best cable for playing in 144hz ?

Sgt.Noli
Go to solution Solved by Hans Christian | Teri,

Use Displayport if your monitor and graphicscard supports it.

Should I use a HDMI 1.4 Highspeed cable or a Displayport 1.2 cable for playing in 144hz on my Asus Vg248qe?

Either cable will work fine, though I'd go with the display port just to be safe.

The monitor also has Dual-link DVI-D which should also support 1080p 144Hz.

does HDMI even do 1080 144? or is that the new version? anyhow, DVi and display port are the only ones you really want to use
