Linux Mint FTW! I just installed it to my other PC which I finally got working after a million tries

I think Mint and Ubuntu are already heavily reviewed.   I think Elementary would be nice though, if there was an option I'd say Zorin OS because its supposed to be like Windows, and it would be cool to see how a windows user finds it.

You should review older versions of Windows

instead of all the Linux distros. I know I have a working barely used Dell laptop with a Pentium III, 256mb mem., ati mobility rage graphics, and an IBM Deskstar <40GB drive (Can't remember the exact size, but IK for sure

it's below 40 :P)

No I would not like you to review an OS.  We are stuck with Windows as the common, easy to use OS so deal with it.

i don't want to create a new useless thread so i will ask here :P
how easy is for an windows user to install and fix some basic stuff (os related ) at linux?

i have been using windows for years but i think the boring dual core (A4 5300) with an nvidia 9400 gt will be better with linux 

what do you think? it will be easy to install? i will see any significant performance improvement ?( the pc is only used for candy crush and browsing the web)

You should really wait a bit for Freya (Formerly known as Isis) to come out, it will make Elementary OS the supreme OS of all OS.

somehow i never get ubunto to run properly on my system(in sig) always get ethernet problems and stuff

Works fine on my M5A97

Is there a Linux distro that works well with touch? As I'd like to use it on my laptop but I do make good use of the touchscreen.

any 14.04 *buntu distro works fine with touch

You haven't included any that have the KDE desktop environment. Maybe you'd like to try one of those? The out-of-the-box experience is merely average but the customiseability is just unrivaled.

I've no idea why the world is afraid of 3D-printed guns when clearly 3D-printed crossbows would be more practical for now.

My rig: The StealthRay. Plans for a newer, better version of its mufflers are already being made.

the pc will be snappier.  it's fairly easy to learn the basics of any debian based os (Linux Mini, Elementary OS, *buntu, and more)

No I think I made it clear I didn't want the OP to review an OS as there no point to it for me or for many users out there.  We are basically stuck with one OS for pc that is very easy to use.  Until such a time that this changes then I am not interested in OS reviews.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

Kubuntu is the KDE flavour of Ubuntu. And I'm pretty sure Arch can be had with it too.
