Kubuntu is the KDE flavour of Ubuntu. And I'm pretty sure Arch can be had with it too.

Tried Arch, and as much as I wanted to use it, I couldn't figure out to get it going to a GUI of some kind.

Mint or Pear OS IMO, I haven't been able to find any good reviews that are up to date really otherwise Linux Mint.
