Welp, I'm officially out of the states. About time but still slightly depressing. Flew in to Frankfurt Thursday morning after some pretty interesting flights. Take-offs and landings were almost like a stone skipping on water. Pretty fun if you'd ask me. Germans are somewhat backwards from an American point of view, and look very depressed all the time. Couldn't say as to why. Maybe I'll understand better in the coming weeks. :D

 

Loving the "hot" weather that's here. It's almost scalding.

 

Off to find a place where I can get a large slice of bienenstich.

Where abouts in the states did you go? I need to fly to California next week so if it's colder than here in Europe then that's all good  :D

Where abouts in the states did you go? I need to fly to California next week so if it's colder than here in Europe then that's all good  :D

I was living in El Paso. Apparently it was 46C when I left. I have lived almost everywhere in the States though.

I'm getting told to go back inside because I might get heat stroke... Naaaah, didn't get it in ELP with 115F summers and I won't be getting it here. They really need air conditioners though... I was spoiled by that.  :rolleyes:

Exactly :P I was melting when it was 35C when i was in Warsaw a couple of weeks ago, and traveling to Berlin on a 5 hour train with no air con!

Back in the days of the old slam door trains with rolldown windows I'd be there in the corridor basking in the breeze, now we have this damn thing called 'safety' and you can't open stuff when the train is moving. :D

I think it's a German layout because of all the strange characters on it for the German language.

 

If the States would fix a few things there I would definitely want to stay there instead. I like my normal size vehicles more than these tiny things....

Back in the days of the old slam door trains with rolldown windows I'd be there in the corridor basking in the breeze, now we have this damn thing called 'safety' and you can't open stuff when the train is moving. :D

The train that we took from Gdansk to Warsaw was like that. Still very hot, but the windows came down and i could stand there with the breeze blowing my face like this:

You couldn't open any windows on the one from Berlin to Prague and there was no air con on that for the first 3 hours so we almost died of suffocation :P

I don't work well in that kind of situation, if I get too hot I will seek cool at any cost and become like a dog who hasn't eaten for 3 days and suddenly sees a sausage behind some glass. :lol:

Hey now, my stepfather is a genuinely large man, 6.5 and thick boned, and when I say thick boned I mean his skeletal structure itself is large, most the cars around here won't even fit him comfortable.

If you are going to the valley you might catch 100 + degree (f) weather.

It's cooler on the coast and in the Sierra Nevada.
