PC crashes when watching youtube sometimes.

vong

So whenever I'm watching a youtube vid and skip along my PC tends to crash every now and again. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

Which version of Catalyst drivers are you using? I'm also using R9 Crossfire (though I've got 290X) and I used to experience crashing while watching YouTube when using older drivers but with newer ones there haven't been any problems.

Okay, turned it off and I'll report back if it's still happening.

I'm using 14.3, haven't checked if any new drivers are out.

Are you using chrome or firefox?  I found chrome fixed the issue.  I think the problem is to do with Catalyst so I'm going to wait until they come out with a fix and I'll reinstall the drivers then.

Using Firefox with youtube extensions.

Could be the extensions try disabling them.
