nope its not

one for each color and one common

most of them are 12V

most of the ebay ledstrips have the pinout in their description

edit: once i bought one of these. usualy these are with a remote, but i made custom electronics for it

edit 2: the controller parts need a 12V external power, some of them come with it, some without it. if you are handy and know enough about electrics, you could perhaps power everything with your computer PSU

Just wondering if that connector is molex, it is a 12v connector for LED RGB lights that some people have recommended on the forum due to being cheap, anyone know?

It doesn't look like Molex, however it has the same 4-pin layout as Molex. Not sure, it looks peculiar.

This is Molex

I know that's molex, I really am wondering whether the connection is compatible with molex, being 12v and 4 pins, however i dont know the layout of the wires

Yeah, I just put that picture up for quick comparison. I wouldn't risk it, spend a bit more and get something with a proper Molex connector, that's what I would do.

Looks like a proprietary connector for people not to mess about with. Honestly I'd just get one of the countless good products for PC's that's already on the market.

there are led strips with molex, but only 1 single color that you can't change (as far as i know)

perhaps there are adapters for the control circuit, so you can power the white box with molex. (molex -> round connector adapter)

you could also use the external power supply that came with the rgb led strip and put it in your case, this way you don't have to do special stuff.

idk how other people do it tbh

Looks like a version of molex that doesn't suck. Interesting
