Fahcore_17 is for GPU's, which means you are also folding on your video card. The 3 after the cpu shows that 3 cores are dedicated to folding.

Can anyone explain what the FahCore_17 is in my task manager? FahCore_a3 is the CPU, amirite? Also, why does it say CPU:3 instead of just CPU

Dunno, never used folding, but CPU:3 means 3rd core.

Fahcore_17 is gpu core PID so proccess it is folding on the GPU, FaCore_a3 is CPU pid prosses. if you end that F@H will stop folding.

FaHcore_17

 

Cpu rendering core applications services

 

FahCore_a3

FahCore_a4

FahCore_a8

 

and other if you have other hardware.

Why does it only say FahCore_a3 and FahCore_17 for me? And If I set the folding to Full my PC bluescreens after a while, is this caused by a bad overclock?

Because they have gaved you a core17 project and a core a3 project.

Temps are at 65-70 centigrade under Full load, voltage is 1.428

What's up with the Core Voltage on 'proposed' ? Shouldn't it be higher than 1.4v which is default?

 

no it should be the same. left and right. proposed' is wat you gaved in! So the voltage is lower. i think that was causes your blu sreen error.

Well I used some software that came with my motherboardand the CPU Vcore offset here is +0.1992V, and the CPU RING is +0.2998V. I changed the Vcore offset to +0 and I Immediatly got a bluescreen

Probably best to take this over to the CPU section - probably some guys over there that can help with your OC issues. A "core" voltage of 1.4v is way to high. Intel recommends never running higher then 1.4V for SB and IB and not higher then 1.3V for Haswell. A 'default' voltage should be in the 1.0x to 1.2x volts I would say... Maybe push this to 1.3 if you need to for an OC, but then your dealing with buckets of heat.

don't be surprised if you burn out your motherboard :P, honestly that's crazy voltage, are you sure those temps are correct?

Look at the voltages, The default core voltages are at 1.4 and the proposed at 0.5v
