Why does micro center not shiipppppp

This is a rant/actual question. I went on the micro center today to see what deals they have and I see the bloody 8600k is on sale for $220, and I was about to buy it but I saw that it is in-store only. Is there any reason they don't ship all their products? They would make so much more money

It's honestly not even that good of a deal. You're only saving like $20.

but then another $30 if paired with certain motherboardssss. I could get the cpu and mobo for $310. Also, there are a bunch of sales on ryzen cpus too. Like this is a deaaaal https://www.microcenter.com/product/5002289/intel-core-i5-8600k,-msi-z390-a-pro,-cpu---motherboard-bundle

Save yourself the pain of getting an MSI motherboard.

I think NewEgg has some pretty solid bundle deals for Black Friday.

Get the people into the store and sell them products with higher margines to make up for the deals.

Yup ppl just do not realize that

Also things on display are usually close to expiry for grocery store

Things at the end of the aisles, be wary!

I live next to a microcenter and have always enjoyed their cpu/mobo combos. I can easily save 50+ on a build from those alone. Then to make it even better they price match on anything you buy... so I just pcpartspicker before I go in and show them the best deals I can find on the web and they will generally match all of them (only exception being if it is a 3rd party seller on amazon)

Then again having a microcenter so close does cause plenty of problems at home. Anytime I go there I basically blow 400+ sometimes 2k... so the wife tries really hard to make sure I don't go lol. Now that 1tb SSD's are mostly down to $125ish even for m.2s... I am probably about to load up and convert a few more server to raid 0 1tb ssds. Most of my servers don't need the redundancy and if they do I back it up remotely anyways.

Ugh, I want one in Florida so bad, and I do not see the problem with that lol

Black Friday is a good day for me to shop. I feel so lucky to live in NYC. Got a micro center in both Queens and Manhattan. ?

The only downside is that the city government banned Walmart. ?

I'd much rather have a micro center then walmart lol

One reason I don't even bother to check Microcenter's website anymore is the preponderance of stock that is in-store only (the nearest Microcenter is almost 900 miles from me). The other reason they too often didn't have what I was looking for.
