Will this SSD work in my system

i have a MSI z170a pc mate (https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/Z170A-PC-MATE/Specification) and i was looking in to buying a PCIE M.2 drive specifically this intel one (https://www.amazon.com/Intel-660p-512GB-80mm-978349/dp/B07GBKQ9ST/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1542168418&sr=1-3&keywords=Intel+SSD+660p+Series). Will this drive work in my system. When i go to MSI's site it says 1 x 2280 Key M(PCIe Gen3 x4/SATA under the M.2 slot section. I think this means that it is a 4x slot running PCIE gen 3 but does the sata just mean i could put both sata drive and pcie drives. also is there any other drives with comparable speeds at a simaler price or is this one listed cheaper somewhere else.

 

EDIT-

I also need to see if the drive will fisacaly fit and if the slot is 80mm. I can go in with a ruler but i would prefer not to.

Yep that drive will work fine. You can put in a pcie x4 drive in.
