Case decision

Hello. I currently am trying to build a pretty nice pc for roughly $1500 CAD, of which I am having a little bit of trouble with the case. Currently, I have none of the parts so I am basically open to whatever. The current case I think I would like to get is the Corsair SPEC-Omega. Though, I would like to try to find something a little bit cheaper. Thanks.

My personal recommendation is the Fractal Design Meshify C TG. It is the best case I've built in and has great airflow!

 

But these are also very good options:

Corsair Crystal 460x RGB

NZXT H500 or H700

Phanteks P400s

Might consider whether you're going to go with air cooling or water cooling.  Cases are differentiating substantially on that feature these days.  For example, air cooling or water cooling will affect whether you have a mesh front or a front panel with side vents.  Additionally, if you go water cooling and want a radiator at the top, then you need to ensure that you have a vented top panel.

I'd like to do air cooling, as this will be my first pc build and I don't know if I could do the water cooling. A: because its more expensive then air B: I'd probably drop everything. Now that I think about it, I'll probably drop the GPU.

What ill this computer be used for? I would often recommend leaving the case for last since if you're not even sure if you want a GPU it means you're probably not heavy into gaming...

Lol I think he was making a joke about dropping the gpu during install. Like physically dropping it.
