Best panel for a second monitor?

Looking for a maybe 1 or 2 new monitors on each side of my main screen. Is IPS the best alternative due to better viewing angles?

Alternative to what? I'd say IPS is pretty much best you can get for a computer monitor.

And not just viewing angles, but also the color accuracy.

I think it's also important for secondary monitors to have swivel, inclination and rotation features. 
IPS has the best color reproduction and viewing angles, VA is a bit like IPS but cheaper.
