Corsair AX or AXi?

TheMidnightNarwhal

So I can nudge a lovely Corsair AX PSU in my PC build but should I get the AXi or the AX? Also, is the AX made by seasonic?

AX is made by SeaSonic, AXi is made by Flextronics.  Both are great though, so I wouldn't let that affect your decision.

Ok, so both are high-end PSUs. Great. :D

I don't see much advantage to the AXi over the AX. If you want to see how much wattage i being used and controller fan curves then go for the AXi. Otherwise, AX or RM would be good.

Well is the fan loud and annoying usually on the AX?

Alright, well I guess I will go with the AX.

actually one thing i notice with the difference between the AX and the AXi is power efficiency.

if your system is going to be on 12 hours + a day it might be worth considering getting the AXi over the AX, but if not just get the AX model.
