Well for a level for data analyst and software developer/web dev. Just don't know what you mean heavy.

But for machine learning , large programming projects, web developer projects.

But a good gaming computer should be fine.

Dont know much about hardware myself.

you see just came out of college

does it need really powerful CPU?

Nvidia GPU for certain tech?

Well

  • Fast CPU speeds up compile/rendering times
  • it don't need to by a nividia GPU

This is what I think is needed. Was using college computers so don't really know

well if it's not something money serious or large scale that would require behemoth,

you could get decent modern PC just barely fitting in your budget,

it's not the best but at the same time prices in Ireland are kind of high for everything, especially AM5,

this is a part list and not a prebuilt though:

Yeah I think best places are either germany or UK(do factor exchange rate tho) to buy from.

Also amazon is good in those counties.

Most PC parts are expensive in ireland.

I'm affraid imports won't help with the fee, though I don't know the fee, so I assume 25% worst case, meaning rough estimate with no real-world accuracy, is 950pounds for UK,

similar build with slower parts would cost 1050 pounds, exceeding assumed 25% tax

hmmm,

RTX 4060 isn't fast or price efficient, but if you're not demanding a build like this could work:

(it uses 150€ monitor, so basically if you find a nice monitor for less than that that's like low response time high Hz, unless you're fine with 60Hz that is, then the monitor price could drop, I also downgraded to 1TB of SSD, but it's good quality)

I think computer parts ignore that tax from the UK

But that's why I think Germany is best because it's in the EU.

Amazon includes the taxes and import payments.

I think below explains it.

yeah import fees from uk can be annoying but I have some extra budget for shipping.

Germany is an option too.

you got the 1500€ build with monitor but weaker card RTX 4060,

Thanks, Podkall for the builds.  I think I am priority is the PC build  but would like a monitor too.

So I think your right the 1500 euro build is probably the best.

Iam not sure there is no import fees ill have to research a bit more.

the plan is for a 1500 budget for both.
