Asus - Download/Support!!

Hi Linus Supporters

I've recently bought new motherboard and graphic card from ASUS. I can't explain how frustrated was I trying to use Asus website! I just can't believe multi billion dollars company have such a poor support and website!!!

Have you experienced similar issues? That's  definitely my last purchase with Asus logo, but still need bloody drivers/software!!!!!!!!

Linus I'm sure you can influence some improvements. PLease do something :)

big fan of asus in general as they make great products, but their website could be better, that's where I agree. but trash might be a little much (for me tho).

To be fair . MSI, Gigabyte are not very good either and neither one of them can write a bios file to save there lives . They are embarrassing . Also power colors site and support in general is just a total joke .

Not sure what it is with these tech companies but you would expect much better from them .   I actually find AMD H.P and Nvidia to be pretty decent but most others are garbage

Wait really? I always do the exact opposite because windows always seem to find the "general" driver that's not specific to the board. I don't trust windows update to do it right.

You can also go to product page and click Support. Although I don't know why it's not working at the moment, it just shows empty page with HDMI logo lol. When things are normal, you have Driver and Firmware tabs where you can get all the stuff. I do wish they'd have a centralized page for their own apps because they don't keep them up to date on specific product pages, so you sometimes have to scout newer products with similar chipsets or cores to get newer apps that still support older ones.

maybe because I only buy cheaper (but not cheapest) motherboards that do not have specific features that require specific drivers :P

It's slow-loading one, but downloads section isn't as bad as it could be (looking at you, AsRock). They could do it better by hiding older versions of each driver and utility.

What are you looking for? If it's drivers, download latest of each to be sure.
