Hello everyone!

Hope you all are doing good. I have a very unique but a serious question, for which i am struggling.

Is there any good laptop available that can be used as a desktop also (no, i am not drunk lol). Let me explain...

Outside Home: I need a laptop for programming , coding and all which should be very fast and looks good, also i can modify its hardware in future.

Inside Home: I want to connect that laptop to possibly 1 or 2 high resolution monitor (4k) and other peripherals, so that i can code more comfortably like a GOOD pc. It should provide a good performance.

I was thinking of macbook as it has 2 thunderbolt ports, but it not up-gradable in future and dual boot would take hell lot of work.

Also i will use hackintosh, windows and linux as triple boot (i am currently using Asus K55VJ as my current triple boot laptop, but it doesn't support 4k).

Yes, they're called Desktop Replacements. Eurocom sells them: http://www.eurocom.com/ec/main()ec

But they're about as portable as saying a full on grill is a portable stove.

especially the part of modifying the hardware goes completely against what is possible with nearly every laptop.

beside this you could use any high end laptop that offers some kind of dock preferably via USB type C for easy usage.

Get a laptop with a beefy cpu and the ability to use an external gpu enclosure. You can then upgrade the gpu at least.
