Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance... Recommended settings?

My question is why would this game recommend a i7 over the i5 for gaming?   System Requirements

  • Minimum:
    • OS: XP or Vista or 7 or 8
    • Processor: Intel Core i5 2400
    • Memory: 2 GB RAM
    • Graphics: Nvidia Geforce GTS 450
    • DirectX: Version 9.0c
    • Hard Drive: 25 GB available space
    • Sound Card: DirectX compatible sound card
  • Recommended:
    • OS: XP or Vista or 7 or 8
    • Processor: Intel Core i7 3770
    • Memory: 4 GB RAM
    • Graphics: Nvidia Geforce GTX 650
    • DirectX: Version 9.0c
    • Hard Drive: 25 GB available space
    • Sound Card: DirectX compatible sound card

they never made a pc port, thats probably why. :P

yeah, that's their first pc port.

that's why I said, they never did a pc port. this is their first.

Oh like that, sorry zoned out a little. :P

The i7 will perform better though, and I can imagine it being quite a CPU intensive game.

Does anyone even use PCIe SSDs?

I don't understand how an i7 would be able to perform better than i5 for gaming, I could see if I were multitasking but for a game i don't know how the i7 would make it better, unless they were taking into account apps running in the background.

I love how they recommend a i7 and then decide that a mere 650 is good enough.
