Anyone have a Ryzen 3 1300x and a GTX 1070 rig?

I want to do gaming in 1440p and I currently have a 1050ti and a ryzen 3 1300x. I want to upgrade to a GTX 1070 to do this. If anyone has  a Ryzen 3 1300x and a 1070 rig and games in 1440p, can you share benchmarks? Are you bottlenecked? Thanks.

I'd probably spend a little more and get an R5 1600/2600 while you're at it. Wait for Black Friday and grab something then.

Once you sell the 1300x, the upgrade cost should be negligible. You'll definitely see better performance from the 1600.

Would a gtx 1060 be fine for 1440p gaming at high settings?

The CPU is bottlenecking your performance, not the graphics card. The 1600 performs better than a 1300x even with an RX580.

I wouldn't use a GTX 1060 for 1440p, but it all depends on what you're playing and what settings you're fine with.

@dizmo is right there would be bottlenecking. You can't just upgrade the graphics card and start doing 1440p. If it means you have to save more money, then buy a better cpu with a 1070
