You’ll need to install pairs. Servers don’t like mix and match.

PC Specs - AMD Ryzen 5 5600X MSI B550M Mortar 16GB Crucial Ballistix DDR4-3600 @ CL15 - RX5700XT 660p 1TBGB & 256GB 600p Fractal Define Mini C CM V550 - Pop!_OS 20.04

NelizMastr thanks, wht do you mean by "pairs" ?

I need second double sided RAM or I can instal it with another one sided RAM ?

I try  with SINGLE RANK ECC REGISTERED CL15 DDR4 SDRAM 288-PIN RDIMM MEMORY MODULE

Servers work in matched pairs, so meaning dim 1 and dim 2 must be identical. In a dual dim line up like dim1 A and dim2 A you could put one matched pair then dim1 B and dim2 B you could set another pair that is not alike din1A and dim2 A

I try to put it in that order

OneSidedRAM 2x 8GB (DIMMA1 - DIMMA2)

TwoSidedRAM 2x 8GB (DIMMB1 - DIMMB2)

But server freeze on memory initialization.

I try in other order:

OneSidedRAM 2x 8GB (DIMMA1 - DIMMB1)

TwoSidedRAM 2x 8GB (DIMMD2 - DIMMC2)

But server see ony 16GB of RAM and 2 other OneSidedRAM's are (disabled) in BIOS

Firstly, you are mixing ECC with non ECC memory. This will not work. You either go ECC, ECC Reg, or Non-ECC....no mixture of the 3.

Secondly with ECC memory it can come in single ranked (1R) or dual ranked (2R). Mixing ranks may cause adverse affects and compatibility issues.

You should always stick with a single type of RAM in server applications.
