Can you safely add liquid metal to a laptop?

I'm wanting to add liquid metal to cyber powers tracer 3 gtx1060 gaming notebook but I'm not sure how the liquid metal will affect my heatsync. I've never applied a liquid metal before btw.

Yeah you just need to apply it correctly and be very careful about how much you put on.

You can do it, but for the portability of a laptop and how often laptops tend to move around, it's not recommended to put liquid metal on anything mobile for the risk of the liquid metal itself leaking.
