That really depends on what kind of person you are and what your needs for these displays are.

4096x2160 is going to be a lot harder to drive than normal 4k.

IMO 3840x2160, because most content I view is 16:9 and the monitors are more plentiful (cheaper).

I would just go for normal 4k then, unless you have ultrawides you can view the footage on.

4096x2160 is essentially the same pixel count as having two 4k monitors.

im confusion

4096x2160 is just a 'couple more' than 3840x2160, which you can easily calculate

Edit: it's 6% more pixels, not 100% more...

You mean its not 200% more?

100% more = 200% of the original value = 2 times as much.

Just depends on how you phrase it.

Unless your drone's camera record at specifically 4096x2160, it won't be worth it. If your drone records at 3840x2160 and you decide to maximize that on that 4096x2160 panel it will look just a bit off.

Nope just a diffrent aspect ratio resulting a slightly wider screen and a few more pixels. It is what movies are shoot in but most video content is actually presented in 16:9 so the 3840x2160 is going to be more main stream and fit nicely on a standard monitor.

It's a small percentage more so the 200% vs 100% is really irrelevant.

It has many res settings but these are the two 4k ones, 38402160 can do 30 fps while the other can only do 24

Oh wow, didn't even read where the percentages came from. Yeah, 4096x2160 vs. 3840x2160 is not even close to double the pixels or whatever :P

Cool, if you just 3840x2160 to record at; the obvious choice would be to get a monitor that does the same resolution.
