MK750 or Alloy Elite

Govedo_xaos

Hey guys,

After over 10 years it's time to retire my Genius kb-06x .

I'm a pleb with mech keyboards and it's pretty much impossible here to find one of these boards in a store without ordering, so I can basically only rely on info from the web to make a decision.

My choice pretty much boils down to HyperX Alloy Elite Rgb or Cooler Master CM MasterKeys MK750 .

They are both available with mx blues so that's what I'd go for.

Any information on either board would be greatly appreciated and if someone has experience with both and could make a direct comparison it would be even more appreciated.

Cheers,

Govedo

You should really order a switch tester so that you don't end up with a keyboard you absolutely hate. No amount of reading will help you pick a switch; you have to test them.

Wow. If that's OK with you OP, I'd like to post my question about the situation instead of creating a new thread. Because these 2 exact keyboards are among my candidates.

Here's my list with their price tag in my country (all red switches as my preference, only M750 being an exception with QX2 switches);

HyperX Alloy Elite rgb / 755 bucks

Steelseries Apex M750 rgb / 800 bucks

Corsair K70 Lux rgb / 840 bucks

Cooler Master MK750 / 910 bucks

As far as looks go, I'm between HyperX and CM. I don't know why, but when I was building my case 2 years ago I preferred Corsair over CM. Now, I feel like CM as a company looking better to me. It's not a knock on Hyperx, but Corsair, though.

I'd like to know the best keyboard of these with disregarding their prices. And also considering, surely. (I hope this message is OK in this thread. )
