New Equipment - Which Songs / Albums?

Ok so there's been a lot of talk on here about what audio equipment is superior etc etc. The first thing I do when I get new headphones or whatever is listen to some of my favorites. What are the Songs / Albums or indeed games that you test new audio products with?

 

I'll list a few of mine:

 

Led Zeppelin - Houses of the Holy

Rage Against the Machine - S/T

The Glitch Mob - Drink the Sea

Aesop Rock - None Shall Pass

Beastie Boys - Paul's Boutique

At The Drive In - Relationship Of Command

Faith No More - Angel Dust

El-P - I'll Sleep When You're Dead

Coheed and Cambria - Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume One

Tool - Lateralus

 

I absolutely love going back to these albums, and sometimes getting a new appreciation of them.

Don't feel like posting what music I listen to atm but 90% of my music I stream from di.fm. As of late I've had a mad addiction to drum and bass.

Enjoy those tacos now, for in 1000 years they will be illegal... eh Ha Ha Ha! I think we all know why.

not your usual type of music albums but worth a listen, most people who hear them love them.

Tool and Rage Against The Machine, very good. In the last couple of days i have been listening to Audioslave, Stone Sour, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Foo Fighters. Would tell you the albums but i have it set on shuffle mode  :rolleyes:

I tend to listen to Kind of Blue by Miles Davis. I also listen to M83, My Bloody Valentine, and Slowdive. 

I have a 2019 macbook pro with 64gb of ram and my gaming pc has been in the closet since 2018

I open VLC or iTunes and press play.
For the past five years though, Mason's "You Are Not Alone" has been my favorite song.

I just run a couple of my favorites through, they change most of the time, the only must is Hells Bells which has become a sort of tradition

Scandal. and more Scandal. They're a Japanese pop/rock band and I'm pretty much addicted to it. It's basically all I listen to now. Before, I would also listen to Skillet, Anberlin, Rise Against, and a few others.
