They are apparently exceptional for sound quality given they don't have a sub woofer

You are better off getting a pair of JBL LSR 305 or 306 or Mackie MR624 and then a preamp to control the volume.

 

FYI lots of stuff is better than bose and lots of stuff also cost more. Bose really isn't a great brand and Razer is even worse.

My general rule of thumb - if they make keyboards and/or mice, I'm not going to buy their audio gear.
