Can I install Intel Optane Cache on a laptop

Hey guys

So I have a Lenovo ideapad 310 with a Core i5 7200U and a 1tb toshiba hard drive.

So I wanted to install an Optane cache drive and accelerate my hard drive

So can I install it

Laptop specs

Intel 7th gen Core i5 7200U

6gb ram

Geforce 920m

1tb Toshiba hard drive

And a legendary CD drive bay

If it doesn't include a m.2 slot then I'll remove the CD drive and replace it with sata converter and install a sata to m.2 converter again

Plz give me  a solution asap

You won't get NVMe speeds with a sata converter so it won't work as it should.

Your best bet is rip out the CD drive and get a CD drive to SSD converter and install a 2.5" SSD instead

With all the Trolls, Try Hards, Noobs and Weirdos around here you'd think i'd find SOMEWHERE to fit in!

you'd probably be making a better purchase in this case by upgrading to an SSD
