Is this laptop any good?

Hey people, i was looking for a laptop to use during university/college that can be capable of ligth casual gaming (emulators, csgo, rocket league , fifa19 etc...) at low-med graphics for under 500€ with an ssd and 8gb of ram. And in my country this seems impossible ... but i think i've found the solution... what do you think about ryzen mobile ? I've been told it overheats and its kinda problematic... but i found this  at a discount

I guess it's gona be perfect for your use case, but the resolution is left to be concerned, it's not bad but it's like my 2012 laptop

As long as it has Storage Expansion then you should be fine

-Frequencies DON'T represent everything and in many cases that is true (referring to Individual CPU Clocks).

I dont care too much about resolution since i have my main pc at home that can play AAA games.  my main concern is if it will last long and not get slow because i never had a laptop before. But i usually format my pc and phone so i think it will hold up ... do you agree?

Look for laptops on the used market that meet your criteria, it's not worth buying a brand new laptop at this price point.

WDYM? You can get a used laptop with better specs than the brand new laptop above. It's not like I'm telling you to buy a fully scratched up and broken used laptop.

yes i agree, and that laptop you are looking at will be fine and quite fast because it has a 128GB ssd

I understand but Not in my coutry . People sell used products at almost for the price they bought things... ye . Dumb . I know.... but thats how it is gennerally.. i've been thinking about it and its not worth it to buy used

I think buying a cheap off brand laptop is going to be a bad decision. You're more likely to find something used that would actually last you through school.

 

If you are absolutely opposed, then maybe save your money.
