I just got a SSD and I need to migrate windows to it. I have tried looking at a few guides and none of them have worked because all of them just have you copy entire partitions over, which I cant do because as far as I can tell windows is in the same partition as everything else, and I have too small of an SSD for that. If there is no way to do this, than is there a way to create a new partition with just windows in it? Feel free to ask if you need more information or screenshots.

Thank you!

What you need to do is get a thumb drive with at least 8gb on it, and make a boot drive and boot off of that through the bios. there, you can select your SSD, and install windows onto the hard drive.

All I ever do at this point is play Destiny 2.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It's kinda sad...
