Can I trade in my iPhone to apple?

I have an old iPhone 6s Plus with a fried Tristar Chip (A 4 dollar repair with the right tools), so it bootloops when i power it on. 

 

I was looking to trade it into apple with the new program and step one is this

 

 

now, my phone does boot to the apple logo but doesn't boot all the way. Should i be able to trade it in?

Well it asks whether you see an apple logo, and you see an apple logo. Nothing in the questions assumes they need it to actually boot into the OS.

I didn't see anything about phones that bootloop, so how exactly is it supposed to help?

I think i should be ok... For Macbooks they say "Does it turn on and load the OS" for iphones they say "does it turn on"

I do not believe that it would qualify. I would do the repair and sell it second hand. Would get a lot more money for it as well.
