Should i wait for 2060 or should i go for 1060 right now , is buying right now a good choice considering price and next gen right around the corner

2060 wont be running RTX anyway, why bother waiting? Besides, the 2060 will cost you as much as nowadays a 1070, if not more.

 

That said, is the 1060 6gb option you're considering cheaper than the RX 580?

2060 is a while away. The top end cards were announced, now we have to wait for the mid and low end cards.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

nvidia's CFO implied that the 2070/2060 wont be ready til 2019, so it's awhile away, your call. Personally right now depending on budget, it's between the 1060, 1070 ti, 1080 ti or the 2080 ti.

GTX 2060 = GTX 1070 in every way... so buy a second hand GTX 1070(for cheaper) and be done with it?

 

RX 580 is an option specially if you have a FreeSync monitor.

except power consumption, and all the benefits that come with that

Also, hopefully the extra small form factor cards start working their way up, as I really don't care for the fact that the gt 1030 is the only single slot low & profile gaming graphics card available from Nvidia, and the lowly rx 550 from AMD.
