Youtube Video Perfromance

I previously used my i5 laptop with gt840m with it. i played youtube videos on 1080p on my asus vs 1080p monitor. i also use win 8.1. the video worked georgeusly

now i upgraded to r7 2700x with gtx 1070, but my video on youtube become bit blurry and like segregating. now i'm using same monitor but win 10. anyone can explain? i use hdmi on both my laptop and gtx 1070 tho

can you take a picture of this ?

i cant, it's just minor difference actually. it's just like upscaling from 720p to 1080p, but i played it with 1080p. it also lose a bit contrast comparing to my laptop.

what browser(s) have you tried?

does it happen if you upgrade to the latest GPU driver?

are you running out of RAM? Win 10 is notoriously ram hungry

Try using Edge if you aren’t already, it supports gpu decoding. When I watch YouTube in 4K on chrome I get stutters because it’s using my cpu. This doesn’t happen in edge

You can't put a 2700x and a 1070 in a laptop.

Do you mean you replaced the laptop with a PC?

Did you install the correct graphics drivers?

Maybe for whatever reason your internet/LAN connection isn't as fast on your desktop?

you could always right click on a video and report playback issues.....there's really nothing that's concerning there in the screen caps

I believe it has to do with the way your GPU is handling video decoding.

Check some settings and shit like that, as the 1070 should be able to decode both AVC and VP9 video.

how to check those settings btw?
