ryzen 2200 g + gtx 1050

was wondering if i had a 2200g apu and gtx 1050 discrete gpu, would my system automatically use my 1050 as the gpu or is there something i would need to do? thanks

You need to connect your monitor to the GTX1050 and that's it. 

 

Why, though? There's little point to buying a GPU immediately after buying a 2200G or 2400G. Just get a R3 1200 or R5 1400 instead. The non-APU models overclock better because they have a soldered IHS. Oh, and the APUs aren't Ryzen 2 either.
