Isnt that 4ms gap gonna make a difference in competitive gaming?

no, that is pixel response time, not monitor response time.

60hz means a new frame every 16ms, so that is a bigger limitation.

So i just want to know whether i should go for this monitor with 1ms response time with a TN panel https://mdcomputers.in/acer-22-inch-amd-freesync-gaming-kg221q.html OR this monitor which has 5ms response time with a IPS panel https://mdcomputers.in/lg-22-inch-99-srgb-amd-freesync-gaming-22mp68vq-p.html

Only difference is the Panels and the Response time... so i am kinda on the verge

i am a competitive gamer and mostly play PUBG and CSGO on my streams

my setup is 16GB DDR4 2666 , GTX 1060 AMP , Ryzen 5 2600x

honestly I would personally go for 5ms IPS instead of TN.

Judge a product on its own merits AND the company that made it.

Basically for gaming in high makes sense to go with the faster TN panel, but overall for productivity, casual computing and some photoshop is just better on the IPS panel.

Although TN panel quality is not same in all the monitors, you will see a pretty decent looking TN or the absolute hell crappy ones.

console.log("way to pro");

Ignore manufacturer specified response times.

here is no widley adopted industry standard testing method/equipment.

So you cant compare 2 different Monitors, especialy across different manufactuers.

However..

What you can do is find review sites that have a testing methodology that they use across all screens they review, this can then be used to compare the screens against others they have tested across multiple manufactuers.
