Looks like the green says PWRSW for power switch.

Moved to CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory.

The monitor wont detect the Computer starting up. The fans spin, so obviously it shoud boot. it has an 11 year old proccesor, a q6600 with 2 old graphics cards. both wont work with it.

What motherboard are you using? Are you sure the cpu is in working condition?

What are the full specs?

What happens if you try booting without any graphics cards, using the integrated GPU?

Does it post?

Can the power supply power on another system?

POSTing would be when it beeps on startup. The beep code will tell you what component is malfunctioning, if it can power on at all.

If you're unwilling to follow my advice to fix this problem, then I frankly cannot help you. A different power supply may yield different results.

Look the POST codes up in your motherboard's manual and see what they refer to.

One beep means your system is normal.

The power supply may not be able to power on a system beyond fans and lights.

It'll be less expensive to just pull the one from your main rig, or use a friend's unit.

That way, you're not putting any money towards this until you actually figure out what the problem is.

My dad says otherwise. I think your right. Is there anyway to test the wattage output of the power supply?

What doesn't he agree with?

You'd need a multimeter for that.
