HDD not showing total unallocated space

I recently put in a 2 TB WD blue HDD into my PC and I allocated 511 GB to a new volume, after which I left it, after some time I wanted to allocate the rest 1.5 GB but I couldn't find it in disk management, but when I boot up my PC it shows that there are two hard drives both with 2000 GB so I don't know why windows isn't finding the rest of the unallocated space
