What do I do with 1TB of space I don't need?

NunoLava1998

I recently bought a 240GB SSD to reduce my boot time and add performance and it has been good so far, but the other 1TB HDD i had (which has been formatted) has nothing on it and I feel everything will fit on the SSD (I don't play games that are heavy on disk space at all).

What should I do with this 1 TB of empty space? Just looking for recommendations. I decided to not use it for Burstcoin if you're going to suggest that (my antivirus doesn't like the wallet and downloading the blockchain is a huge pain).

Just keep it empty because that SSD will eventually get full and you will want a place to offload some of the less important stuff you have on it. Also as a rule of thumb, you should try to keep the SSD below 75% full (I read that somewhere a while back).

Either use it as a back-up drive for now or just disconnect it.

Not to mention the payout you'd get on burstcoin would be worthless.

What I did with all my extra currently useless drives is put them into the STORJ project. It adds your drives to what is a nice cause and you do get paid for it but it's also not a great amount. If you managed to fill that 1TB you'd probably only make about $1/day.

i though this when i first got an SSD, better to just keep it in and you will start to tweak where you store stuff. currently, my SSD runs my OS, programs and the odd game (PUBG, WoW, ect ) for load time i use my old 1TB for games and recording storage and my 3TB for movies, music and tv shows. it is better to keep it in just in case than remove it and find out you need it later on.

Decided to just use it when I have little space on the SSD.

Meanwhile, I did this for no reason:
