1050 or 1050ti?

I have a ryzen 5 2400g, and I want to get a graphics card. would a 1050 or 1050ti be good?

i’d recommend spending the extra for the 1050ti as the1050 only comes with 2g VRAM wich put simply is NOT enough 

 

 

And i recommend getting a Rx 570 4gb same price but a lil faster in some games

not 1050, performance gain isnt that much.

 

In terms of value though, both entry level cards are kinda bad. RX 570s start at $200 and is much faster.

Neither, save your money for an RX 570/580 RX 570s are going on sale for $199 sometimes now

an RX 570 is like 40-50% faster than a 1050ti

I thought performance compares like 1050-560; 1050ti-570; 580-1060

but even if not 40% 50%seems way too much

Depends on the game and settings of course, hard to find some comparisons
 

But ya don't bother with just a 1050ti with the RX 570 coming down in price

i like my 1050Ti its a little beast with my i5 6500 its not a bad choice but if you have 8 pin power step up to a 1060 with 6Gb and be getting 144Hz performance  the pic is it under the load of a 1080 75 hz curved monitor and a 4k im overdriving with 8k footage im running off YouTube  its not a bad choice but for the price you can buy a good 1060 6Gb now for the same price as the 1050ti

You already have a functional GPU, you should be saving up for a more major upgrade, not just a 1050 or 1050ti.

 

the RX 570 is likely to be that major upgrade.

Also nvidia announced new GPUs on the 20th most likely.

the lead up to the launch is going to give great prices the RX line is what AMD needs to bring up to Ryzen quality the new integrated vega makes them look bad personaly for your price range the 1060 6Gb is the best deal i can get one today for $270 and the 1050ti is still around that mark if you have only pcie slot power the 1050ti is king no question but the 1060 6Gb is the smart choice if you have the power requirements 2 more Gb of ram is useful
