Im never getting Radeon graphics until they improve

What are you talking about?

Your CPU is still perfectly fine for gaming, no need to replace it

t produce less heat by undervolting.

That will help, but it's still a terrible blower cooler.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

I dropped power consumption on both my 1070 and 1080 by 40%. It will help more than just a bit.

You have some magical golden chips then I think if they could maintain stock clocks for that much lower voltage.

You can make the GPU obnoxiously loud to dissipate the excess heat. Or you can be actually smart and just make it produce less heat by undervolting.

Can barley hear two of them compared to a single strix or sc. or even an industrial noctua over 50%.

If there was a way to under volt without losing power, that could be a viable choice for some.

it was 85 i meant. I got 70 on idle

Not normal.

on Idle it should be like 30-35°C, and 73°C~ under Load. 83°C is normal Temperaturetarget from Nvidia, but a 1060 founders should never reach it.

Numbers taken from a german Magazine, PC Games Hardware.

Your card's Cooling system seems to be defective. use your Warranty~

Given your profile picture, i'd say that's probably your hearing failing ;)

Undervolting, if done right, doesn't lose your performance.

Yea I completely forgot about that but makes a lot of sense now that I look back on some stuff.

May have to try Undervolting if I ever get a chance to run a card on air again.

Try turning the fan up or replacing the thermal paste and pads.

The FE cards have blower-style coolers, which aren't nearly as good as fan-coolers on third-party models like the RoG STRIX cooler.

Blower coolers work on compact builds but for tower builds, it's definitely better to go with a fan cooler.
