Can you put the HDD LED into the IDE LED on the MOBO?

Can you put the HDD LED into the IDE LED on the MOBO? or vice versa?

I hAve an unfinished pc build. Pls dont bully for not having one yet or i cry.

the ide led usually means the hdd led. back in the day ide was the interface for drives so if it's an old machine then the hdd activity led would be reading what an ide hdd is doing

okay, and what side of the lde light is positive and which is negative

it will say on the board which is positive or negative with a + or -. if not it'll say in the manual.

if it says in neither , then plug it in one way , if that doesn't work then flip it and it'll work
