AOE 3 crashing PC? Win 8.1

So recently on my brand new 2 week old pc, AOE 3 is crashing my pc. The game runs 60-100 fps on max settings (got over 3200+ fps on the game boot up video) so my pc can more then handle the game, when playing my GPU is only 54*. And today for the second time my pc crashed randomly while playing, there was no signs of a crash coming in advance, it just happened randomly, today i got the "windows has encountered the problem and needs to restart" screen

After that win rebooted properly, and it fine, for now. But yesterday it crashed so drastically, i though my power went out. It literately just turned off, like someone pulled the plug, it was that fast. My win 8 laptop never had this problem, my many old win XP machines never had this either. So i just wondering why my new pc that has 2x more cores, over 2x the cpu speed and over 6x more graphics mem then my laptop, and it crashes?!?!? just wondering If you guys know how to fix this, thanks :)

Reinstall the NVIDIA Drivers.

Reformat hard drive, install Windows, install all drivers, install game.

 

Or, reinstall the game.

Also consider turning VSync on

Have you tried doing a clean driver wipe? (Safe mode > Device manager > uninstall display driver > delete remaining files in nvidia folder > reboot and reinstall latest driver)

oh well in that case it could just be the game being uber incompatible with win8, GTA san andreas wont run right on my comp because of win7/hardware
