Small ATX case?

Looking for a case for my new build that is noticeably smaller then my current ATX build in a Coolermaster 690 II which is;

Dimension (W x H x D)

214.5 x 496 x 528.8 mm / 8.4 x 19.5 x 20.8 inch

 

I originally had my eyes set on the unreleased Phanteks Evolv X, but have been doubting that as case size is something I always wish was smaller then my current Coolermaster, 

 

The only case that I have taken notice of is the Fractal Design Meshify C with Tempered Glass which is about 100mm shorter in height and length then current case. The only things I don't like on the Meshify is there is no opening in the psu shroud to take the gpu cable through as well as a space for SSD on the glass side?  Is there any other cases I should take a look at?

Looking at something around $120-150 (US) with a TG side as I'm going the RGB route. The case is to be air cooled, but I do plan on going AIO for the CPU in future. 

 

Any recommendations?

Depending on your GPU the 8x/6xPCIe power will be so far back

you can remove the front shroud cover and have it go through there

or mod the shroud and reinsert it.

I have a watercooler show build in the Meshify C with the cover removed. Mostly because I use a 360 up front

The cable dangling out is the unattached PCIe power cable. Was later replaced with a custome made one.

Been doing some more looking around and have now also come across the NZXT H400 / NZXT S340 Elite, kind of like these a bit better then the Meshify because of the pass through for GPU cable and SSD mounting on the glass side. I feel like for me my ideal case is a mix between these NZXT cases and the Meshify

Raijintek thetis. As small as small matx case. Just 36 x 36 cm. You can fit 2 x 2.5 hdd, 2 x 3.5 hdd and add 1 more 2.5" in front of the psu. You can add two 2 x 2.5" ssd bracket to pci slot /4 slots m2 pci accesory. Plus 2 m2 slots in mobo.

 

For airflow, Top 2x intake for gpu. Bottom intake for single tower air cooler. But if you want to change to aio cooler, you can add small single aio radiator to rear slot and make bottom fan exhaust for hot air inside the case.
