Kicked/Banned from LTT Discord?

Who would I talk to on why my "Linux > Winblows" comment was basis for kicking(and i assume banning since it's not letting me rejoin...) with no warning, or anything. It was a light hearted joke, I literally run everything from winblows to *BSD servers.. They all have their uses. Was what I said really that offensive that it required an insta-kick/ban????

Is there a rule against starting flame wars?

If it was a bot it might just be heavy handed. I have no idea who runs the Discord though.

Probably nothing I can do (it's handled by different people), and bans on discord are usually non-negotiable because of the volume of messages that get sent, but what's your username and discriminator (name#1234)?

100% wasn't starting a flame war. Someone was posting how their Win10 autoupdated/rebooted when they walked away for a couple minutes.. I made the joke. 

 

Think it may have been a heavy handed bot now that you mention(if they use those). I did also put "it wont force you to update during the middle of a pr0n sesh" <-- thinking maybe that was it to trigger the bot? but still, who on this site doesn't look at hardware pr0n, car pr0n, etc?

It's actually because you were hating on windows and your NSFW profile pic, which isn't allowed on the server.

I don't think you were banned, as it's not in the requirements to have a mobile number for discord itself, but for the LTT server as verification we do need a phone number that can receive text messages.

Surely you can see how saying Linux is better than Windows, and using a more derogatory term for Windows, can start a war.

It's not really a joke. There was no punch line. It simply a statement.
